We are telling our PoP CA that she should be a role model for the remaining PoP families and that is the reason why ,our PoP CA is chosen from the PoP families. It applies to us also. We need to be role models for our CCs and APM is in making field visits, attending the scheduled SHG meetings etc

But to go to field and spend enough time there, do we have enough resources supporting us? For example one issue is that in municipalities the maximum limit as per HR policy for accommodation is Rs.350 /day, which we know is not possible, even in towns like Nalgonda, Srikakulam etc. Though we have government guest houses available, God only knows when we have to vacate them. Any political person can ask us to vacate it at any time of the day; first of all they are not accessible and not safe in many places. So shall we worry about going to the field or the accommodation expenses? Some amount of comfort is that in corporations the amount is Rs.1500/day as per HR policy. Perhaps in a mandal it is Rs.250/day. This only means that we are taxing the staff going to small towns?

Moreover, when we go to municipalities like Chittoor, the accommodation provided to us are well above the limit of Rs.350 , due to which, we request (force / understood ! ) the district personnel to pay the bills. I have been told that this was done and is being done with all the SPMU staff, which in my opinion leaves scope for abuse of system under the name of “hospitality”.

Any staff visiting to the field, should ideally pay for their accommodation and claim them at their head quarters. District staff only facilitates the timely booking of the accommodation. If this principle is strictly followed (along with paying for one’s own food during the field visits), then sytems may slowly fall in line.

in this regard IB unit has represented to our CEO. We also faced the same difficulty. This issue can be settled by HR unit.
